Delete your House Cup account

You can permanently delete your account from House Cup after you sign in. Account controls stay protected so only the signed-in account holder can confirm deletion.

Deletion steps

  1. Sign in with the House Cup account you want to delete.
  2. On Your account, choose Delete My Account.
  3. If you are a household's only administrator, first transfer the administrator role or delete that household in App Preferences.
  4. Review the subscription notice, type DELETE, acknowledge the notice, and confirm deletion.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your account and your membership in all House Cup households. Other household members and their household records stay in place.

House Cup deletes personal information associated with a deleted account from active systems within 30 days. Backup copies may be retained for up to 90 days before they are permanently purged. See Data Retention in the Privacy Policy for the full policy.

Subscriptions and billing

Deleting your account does not cancel a shared household subscription. Remaining household members keep their plan. Deleting the household cancels its web subscription immediately for all members and does not request a refund.

Apple and Google Play subscriptions continue billing until you cancel them in the store. You can delete your House Cup account immediately without waiting for a subscription to expire.
